It should be cook  (SP: cocinero IT: cuoco ) (the person) and not the cooker  (SP: forno IT: fornelli ) (the apparatus). It should be kitchen  (SP: cocina IT: cucina ) (the place) instead of chicken  (SP: pollo IT: pollo) (the bird). These are typically confused words. 

Fun is an adjective and noun that describes something that is entertaining, pleasurable or amusing, like a holiday or a trip to the beach.

Funny is an adjective that describes something or someone who makes you laugh. So it is possible to use both to describe the same thing.
